Fundraising Schedule - 2010
The
Old Tin Shed Tent Sale, "Dollars for HART Dogs"
Friday thru Monday, May 21st thru 24th, at The Old Tin
Shed Shop 'til you drop, many rustic, unique treasures
to be discovered at The Shed,....while donating your
dollar for HARTs animal welfare programs!
The
Barry's Bay - May 22nd, from 10 am to 5 pm. Will be
selling the HART apparel and taking orders for new
calendars.
HART Yardsale Saturday July 3rd. Faraday Animal
Hospital, Bancroft, HWY 28S. Lots of good 'finds' to
tempt the treasure hunters fancy!
Concert in Bancroft's Millenium Park July 14th. HART is
particpating in this Bancroft Chamber of Commerce
fundraising venue. Under the umbrella of an azure sky,
beautiful music to lull and entertain you.

Frills "Toss A Toonie" Barbeque Friday/Saturday/Sunday,
July 30, 31, Aug.1. Sizzlin' juicy burgers/sausage and
sauerkraut, generously hosted by Beth and Claude Pepin.
HARTs Woof Walk Wed,
Aug 25th. Old Schoolhouse Tea Room in Ormsby. 10:30am. A
pledge walk for animal welfare, thanks Ernie for hosting
our march for funds!
"Maynooth
Madness" Saturday Sept. 4th Maynooth Fair Grounds. Meet
the volunteers who you can call upon to provide animal
rescue support!

HARTs Kritter
Kringle Sale Saturday, Dec 11th, 10am. Maynooth
Community Centre. Lots of amazing prizes to be won for
the cost of a toonie. Dog Show with prizes, home made
luncheon served..same day as Maynooths "Brighten the
Night" Parade!

Each
year HART/Newf Friends has animals come into our care who
have been the victims of cruelty in the form of neglect or
cases of intentional cruelty. Dogs who have been abandoned,
starved, denied veterinary care for injuries or illnesses,
shot, beaten, dragged behind cars…..we see it all. With the
help of concerned citizens who call in tips, police officers
and animal control officers are able to investigate cruelty
allegations and save animals from further harm. This can
only happen if people come forward and report cruelty.
Please, if you witness cruelty, don’t turn a blind eye and
let the animals continue to suffer. Report cruelty, and save
a life.
